But we do ‘play well’ with others, so you won’t insult us if you need us to work with another engineering firm, tool maker or manufacturer. We have the experience, process disciplines, and communication skills and tools to work in a team involving multiple vendors. As needed, we have taken over manufacturing already started elsewhere; engineered and tooled molds for others to use; and decorated products manufactured elsewhere. We think our role is to serve our clients in a way that makes sense for them and us, and we won’t know this until we talk.

Microdyne Plastics has the ability and expertise to create and develop blow-molded containers and associated injection-molded components of almost any size and shape for packaging or promotional programs, from inception to destination. Standard sizes range from 5ml to 2gal.

A successful product begins with the mold tooling. Our mold engineering staff is qualified to create complex molds. In addition to design, we realize that it is important to select the right materials for fabricating the molds. Similarly, selecting a supplier for consistent quality of the materials and the reliability of the source. That is why we favor local, reliable, quality American suppliers.
Precision in manufacturing is critical for a variety of reasons. One is that these products often have to work with caps sourced elsewhere. Another is that scrap is expensive, so from fabrication to decorating the process must work precisely as designed and budgeted.
Microdyne works with all the major types of resins for blow molding:
Microdyne Plastics’ full service decorating capabilities offer vibrant multicolor images, utilizing both silkscreen printing with 1 to 5 colors, and pressure sensitive labeling. Fully automatic and semi-automatic screen-printing equipment enables Microdyne to print directly on the container with conventional line and spot art as well as five-color process art. For volume orders with multiple color graphics or high-resolution photographs, permanent pressure sensitive labeling is available.
Microdyne also offers secondary preparations or support functions. These include shrink wrapping, bottle assembly, adding inserts, UPC labeling, drop shipments, and special packaging. Let us know your special order fulfillment requirements and we’ll work with your budget and timeline.
